JOB SUMMARY: To provide all guests with the highest possible standard of service. The host is the 1st person a guest will see when entering. Remember: You Never Get A Second Chance To Make A FIRST Impression!




  • Keep host area neat, clean and organized.
  • Call to confirm upcoming reservations.
  • Set-up reservations for the evening (VIP tables, private events, etc.).
  • Check staff schedule and make sure they know which section is theirs for the shift.
  • Report any customer problems immediately to the manager.
  • Act as a liaison to convey any special needs of guests to the service staff and management.
  • Make each guest feel welcome, comfortable and feel that we are sincerely glad to see them. Look the guests in the eye and be sure to keep your cool under pressure.
  • Monitor the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables, estimate wait times for guests, monitor the guest waiting list, and ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting.
  • Greet guests, escort them to their table and present their menus. Make them aware of any items that we may be out of. Also make the guest aware of any specials.
  • Responsible for answering the telephone at all times as well as managing voicemails.
  • Maintain reservation system and track guest count.
  • Make sure all guests are made comfortable and kept informed of their wait time status or the status of their take-out orders.
  • Assist the servers whenever possible, i.e. clear dishes, set up tables for next seating.
  • Keep all menus neat, clean and stain-free.
  • Keep windows in entry way clean.




JOB SUMMARY: To provide all guests with the highest possible standard of service. Servers are expected to be attentive to our guest needs while making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. Please have some basic food and wine knowledge, with a willingness to always continue learning! As a server at RFK KITCHEN we would like you to have fun and enjoy your job while maintaining a professional demeanor. The server’s role is integral to the success of the restaurant.




  • Prepare the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, and performing all other opening sidework tasks.
  • Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc.
  • Be able to make food and beverage recommendations, inform guests about food preparation and allergy information, and communicate specific needs to the kitchen.
  • Maintain proper dining experience, delivering items, exceeding customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils and refilling glasses.
  • Garnish mixed drinks for service to your customers table. Execute proper tableside wine service.
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by management.
  • Assist with special events as needed.
  • Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting.
  • Be professional, warm, engaging, dynamic, and have fun!




JOB SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of a Busser is to set/reset tables with clean napkins, dishes, glassware and silverware and remove soiled dishes, glassware and silverware from the tables. Secondary responsibilities include proper maintenance and cleaning of side stations, floors, furniture, restrooms and perform other duties as assigned.



  • Prepares dining room for patrons by setting tables and stocking all necessary supplies prior to the beginning of service.
  • Assist the servers in clearing the tables when possible of silverware, napkins, dishes, and glassware.
  • Brings used dish and glassware to dishwashing and restocks clean dishes in all areas of restaurant.
  • Supports wait staff by assisting them with delivery of food and retrieval of any supplies they may require.
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary bussing station.
  • Fills water pitchers, stocks glassware, silverware and other dry goods.
  • Maintains proper table alignment and setup of table settings and furniture.
  • Periodically sweeps floor.
  • Frequently monitors all trash cans in store and empties.
  • Wipe down counter tops in bathroom.
  • Stock bathroom with soap, hand towels, & toilet tissue.
  • Follows proper closing procedures to keep clean and organized store.
  • A good busser is always aware of what is going on in the dining room and kitchen and is ready & willing to help others get it done.
  • Communicates to management when there is an issue, whether it is personal or work related.
